この作品は”大人の宝もの箱”をコンセプトに制作しました。
子供のころはなんでもないようなものにも自分だけの魅力や素晴らしさを見つけ、大切な宝物にすることが出来ました。しかし、大人になるとそうした感性や、感動は薄れていってしまいます。
この作品は、蓋や内側に様々な装飾をすることで、眺めるだけでわくわくするような、そしてそのわくわくをヒントに、普段なら見逃してしまうような宝ものたちを見つけられるような、そんな作品に仕上げました。
中の宝ものはもちろん、宝もの箱自体も、宝ものになってほしいと考えています。

这件作品的主题是“大人的宝物箱”。
小的时候，我们常常会把一件平平无奇的物件当作自己的宝贝，然而当我们长大成人后，不知不觉间这种感性就变得淡薄了。
我在这件作品的盖子以及内部做了各种各样的装饰，让人一看到就会萌生出好奇和期待的心情。我希望这件作品能够让人重拾发现美的眼睛，去关注那些在生活中被我们遗漏掉的“宝物”。
你可以把自己的宝贝存放进这个箱子里，同时我很希望这件小作品也能成为你的宝贝。

As we grow older, we begin to forget the things we held important as children. Memories fade, and we become jaded in our ways. This becomes apparent in the things we collect. As kids we create importance, and meaning from the things adults quickly pass by. We find beauty in the little mysteries of life, collecting stones, stickers, and so called “trash”. With age we quickly let go of these collections, and they become disposed of or forgotten. Treasure is exactly inspired by this phenomenon. How our values change as we get older, our collections also metamorphosize. Treasure reflects this aspect by portraying things that become important with age, but also how the naïveté of childhood still lingers. It is difficult for adults to find their personal treasures. I wish for the viewer to use the decoration of this piece as a hint to be able to seek out their own treasure.
